Noosphere: psycho-geographic EEG, is a new participatory work exploring shared consciousness (telepathic) performance and experience. Together we will access the noosphere by harnessing brainwave signals. The underlying technological framework will be to live stream participant/ performers’ brainwave frequency data back to them in the form of light, sound, and vibration; creating a feedback loop. Resonating individuals together may heighten their resonant and morphic fields, producing some bleed between consciousnesses, fuzzy edges, collective aura intertwining: telepathic receptivity and experience. This new piece examines the premise that consciousness is a technology which can be shared and explored.

Richie Cyngler:an artist based in Tasmania, Australia. He explores subjectivity, consciousness, our relationships with technology and each other in his work through improvised performance, sound and interactivity. Richie is interested in the “human project”, the potential of our mind and spirit, perception, movement, evolution, contemporary and archaic techniques. His work often employs sound, light, open source software, hardware, circuitry, sensors, and space to produce audio-visual experiential performance and installation.
