Prague-Up CONNECTING 3 event will smoothly close the summer season.
Prague is waking up. There is a sense of something new and exciting in the air. Unusual projects and unique places are opening up to enrich the city and its atmosphere. The lifestyle and the way how to enjoy leisure time change.
And PRAGUE-UP is all about this. It is a billingual online guide about Prague that gives out personal recommandations to locals, ex-pats and foreign visitors over 2 years already.
The same way as the city changes, the same way also the CROSS CLUB changes. The ugly parking-place in front of the club was replaced by a green space where numerous cultural events such as summer cinema, food markets and concerts of different music styles take place almost every day.
And because both Prague-Up and Cross Club are open to new things, they like to connect people from different communities and to support creative individuals, they decided to organise an event on the 27th Aug together that smoothly closes the summer season and shows what the “new” Prague is about.
It starts after 3 pm with a DAY-TIME OPEN-AIR in front of Cross Club with free entry. Talented djs as Not_Me, Troniq, Anna Myschkin, Pluge, Jag Kiranmay, Oldrich Sic Jr., Luke Nova, Yacube, Ezwell and Alex Aniska. You shouldn´t miss the urban shamanism performance by tyto alba (Kyklos Galaktikos project) or another live act by GWD with his samples and heavy beats. And there will be much more to enjoy.
The space will be filled in by large-size installations by Studio PRAM and The Chemistry Gallery, city bikes from Urbane Tokyo Bike will be available for testing rides, Paralelni Polis makes a workshop about 3D print and You may observe a graffiti live jam all day long.
We plan for You also a fashion show and fire show and it seems that also a performer LULU comes from Berlin.
Mini market offers illustrated books and comics from Xaoxax, Soffa lifestyle magazines and a cultural monthly magazine Artikl, vinyls by world-famous dj and local ex-pat Sebastian Paiza, fashion and design pieces by Koncept Story or popular Prague-Up bags, bottle openers and notepads.
Food-trucks Prague Jerk Station and Crush Street Food make You happy with hot Jamaican specialities and burgers and yes kafé / studio from Letna tries to attract You except of quality coffee by affogato or coffee with toniq.
After 10 p.m. the open-air closes and the NIHT-TIME CLUBBING inside Cross Club kicks off. The lower minimal stage will be powered espacially by the main Berlin dj star JUST_ME, anyway it will be supported by the local ex-pat Luis Cerdas Jaubert by his live painting performance. The upper stage will be full of house and presents as the main headliner the Spanish dj and producer EL_TXEF_A who comes to Prague for the first time after his long tour in Mexico and he really looks forward to it.
