▍CROSS ATTIC presents for the second time Peruvian artist MoVan, whose intensive audiovisual performances reminds of Ayahuasca rituals.

Exploratory process of a traveller in the mountains in the discovery of his roots, a process of decolonization, unlearning of the West, looking for his identity through a story that tells the appearance of a pre-Hispanic window where the first Incas come from that reveal a truth through the sacred plants.
Live Set AV of an imaginary psicodellic trip, projection of images recorded in the valley of the Incas musicized in real time, performance act where minimalist singing, prehispanic instruments, analog synth, oscillators, rhythm boxes come together to narrate this story that seeks the ancestral.
❚ Movan (Moisés Van Oordt)
Audiovisual artist based in Lima, he studied Communication Sciences and Arts with focus in Audiovisual (PUCP). Videoart and experimental video maker, works installations and audiovisual sessions.
In his projects he seeks the creation of textures and narrative atmospheres through the poetic experimentation of clips that he compiles and complements with live sound. The ritual - religious themes of pre-hispanic cultures of Perú are recurrent in his work. Audiovisual sessions that he complements with elements used in ancestral rituals, looking particularly for the redemption of the Andean cosmogony of Christianity imposed during the Spanish
invasion and conquest.
