CROSS ATTIC
Backstage / Open Studio #6 [por/ger]
Cross Attic / Artists Crossings - platform for independent art - international residency programme invites all interested to share ideas about the BACKSTAGE project developed by Berlin choreographer Mariana Nobre Vieira & collective: Maciej Sado, Djibril Sall.
Backstage is a project that challenges the intersections between contemporary dance as an artistic field and the dance that is contemporarily practiced in quuer rave and club culture contexts. Taking as a starting point a common space to both a dance performance and a party, the backstage, this project aims to guide
the audience through what happens behind the dancefloor in the place where artists, friends and guests can mingle, dress-up, eat, rest, have a shower and breathe for some moments while the adrenaline of the stage presence oscillates.
║ Open studio is revealing the process and creates a platform for short presentation, discussion, sharing the ideas connected to ongoing work or just everyday issues and struggles.
╤ Entrance free: start at 17:00
╧ Wine & beer & snacks on spot
