Jasmin Schaitl and Tereza Silon are collaborative allies for the very first time and are joining their somatic and artistic approaches during their residency at Cross Attic.
They experiment and research what happens when one certain sense in use is highlighted or when we undergo temporary partial sensory deprivation.What kind of answers, and somatic-cognitive processes does the body produce? How does this body relate back to the other? How do we remember with the body, and how do we remember with our mind?
Following both artists' research of neuro- and cognitive science in relation to the reception of art and touch in many different contexts,they will examine and dig deeper into how we communicate, how we share, and how we collectively create new paths in life together.
Artists in conversation: During and directly after their first showing at Cross Attic, they intvite to reflect collectively on what and why something is remembered after witnessing a performance.
Jasmin Schaitl (AT)
